About Kaolin
Kaolin, also known as China clay, is a naturally occurring, fine, white clay primarily composed of the mineral kaolinite. Kaolinite is a hydrated aluminum silicate (Al₂Si₂O₅(OH)₄) formed by the weathering of aluminum-rich rocks, such as feldspar. Kaolin is widely used in various industries due to its unique properties, including its fine particle size, whiteness, chemical inertness, and ability to disperse in water.
